WARNING - Under Construction

Welcome to my site! I'm lunacytie. I made this site simply out of pure fun after stumbling upon a neocities site. You can find anything that interests me or things I created.
Follow me on neocities of you wanna keep up with what I do on here. At the moment the site is very much under construction and might heavily change!

Feel free to look around and leave comments!
I would love to find some neighbours, so if you're interested sign my guestbook with your site linked!

Update 2026-06-04

So uhm...
Yeah
My first burst of motivation (where I learned HTML and CSS) was heavily fueled by starting ADHD meds. But life came at me like a bitch and now I'm here. Almost a year after I started obsessing over personal websites with nothing to show. Oops.

My main struggle with all this is really just what I want things to look like. My perfectionism kicks in everytime I attempt to do anything. I think I changed up my colour palette at least 10 times...
Oh well.

I'm trying to do things more steadily and more realistically, small goals, working with templates.

Current plans

I want to heavily focus on OCs and TTRPGs I've been exploring. My idea was creating a wiki style page for all my OCs, their lore, AUs, and creation histories.

I also want to start straight with a static site gen because writing in markdown comes much more naturally to me than HTML (also future layout changes will be a lot easier, I think it'll be great for my perfectionism.)
I was originally intimidated by 11ty and co back when I found them but after reading a bit more it seems simple enough (famous last words).

Why

I discovered neocities and nekoweb back in July 2025 through artfight, one of the people I followed had their personal site linked on their profile.
I started ADHD meds right around that time and to say it skyrocketed my focus for a while would be an understatement. The first week of July was spent drawing and attacking people on artfight with a focus and vigour I could never summon for such a long stretch of time. And then I found neocities.

Artfight was mostly forgotten and instead my brain latched onto neocities and the indieweb as a whole.
The first few days I explored tirelessly, subscribing to RSS feeds, finding small blogs and digging through personal sites.

Then, I started HTML and CSS tutorials and started planning my own site. I looked at people's codes, starting making plans in obsidian, collected inspiration, created colour scheme after colour scheme.

Personal websites have something to them that social media just doesn't. It feels weirdly safe.

For the last 9 months not much happened in regards to me actually making a site.

Until now.

I'm trying to steadily chip away at it again, making smaller goals and slowly expanding.
I am working a rather exhausting job, so updates might be slow, but that is okay!
